Weekly Homework Assignments
Due Week 13:
Angel Choir Assignment: Do the "Go Fish" music sign worksheet. Just listen to your CD WITH NO MISS KATHY 2 times this week. It's time for the moms to have a break! Moms: Please number each day your child listened (1 the first day, 2 the second, etc.) on the date that they listened or completed the written assignment. Sign the practice card on the week your child comes to class - week 13.
Children’s Choir Assignment: Do counting Lesson 22/24 homework BOTH SIDES: Listen to your CD 2 times this week, listening to alternate part on CD only! All Pieces should be MEMORIZED! There should be at least 2 checks on your practice card for each day you listened. Moms: Please number each day you listened (1 the first day, 2 the second, etc.) on the date that you listened and make sure you sign the practice card on the week you come to class - week 13.
Men’s Choir Assignment: Memorize all of "I Wonder as I Wander" for next week. Try to sing all other literature against another part. Can you hold your own part? Master’s Singers Assignment: Memorize "Christmas Waltz" for next week - ALSO work on memorization of your "Riu Riu" solo / "Caroling, Caroling" / "We'll Dress the House"/ "Tomorrow". All should be prepared for next week.
Concert Choir Assignment: Memorize "Cradle Hymn" for next week. The following are also to be memorized: "Gloria", "Mary Had a Baby", "What Sweeter Music", & "Master's in this Hall". Children’s Choir Assignment: Write out your rhythm homework using eighth, quarter, half notes only. One example in 3/4, one in 4/4. & Listen to your CD 3 times this week, listening to alternate part on CD. Can you stay on your own part? If not, work with the mixdown. There should be at least 3 checks on your practice card for each day you listened. Can you hold your own part?
